Alexander County JROTC honored: The Alexander Central High Navy JROTC program was recently recognized by the Department of the Navy. The school received the Unit Achievement Award and a pennant to display on its flag. This is the third consecutive year that Alexander Central has earned the award, which is in the top five of all honors presented to JROTC units. Lt.
